Drainage Services Department

Events

The project adopted a "public participatory" approach to ensure the revitalized river truly met the needs of the its diverse stakeholders.  Various meaningful events were conducted at Tsui Ping River.  We look forward to continue exploring the different possibilities of this revitalized river with the community.

1. 75 No. Drainy Artwork Installations

The completion of the revitalization of Tsui Ping River is coincident with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.  To celebrate this important event, the Drainage Services Department (DSD) installed 75 no. of DSD's mascot "Drainy" artwork installations alongside the river section near King Yip Street.  The artwork installations were incorporated with various design themes including Chinese cultures and festives, thematic manholes and Tsui Ping River's branding designs.
