DSD Co-organizes Science in the Public Service 2018
Jointly organized by Hong Kong Observatory (HKO), Government bureaux/departments and other organizations, the Science in the Public Service (SIPS) 2018 is taking place from July to December this year to promote their scientific work and application of technology to the provision of services for the general public.
Apart from the joint forum co-organised with HKO, Drainage Services Department (DSD) this year will also arrange laboratory workshops and guided tours to our facilities.

This guided tour starts with an introduction of the project details of HVUSSS and the associated innovative designs such as the smart movable weirs and water harvesting system. It is followed by site visit to the fan room, 60,000 m³ storage tank and green lawn on top of the pump house |
