To foster collaboration amongst the Government and the tertiary institutions on research and development (R&D)
To support innovation in delivering a sustainable drainage and sewerage services in Hong Kong.
 
About the Drainage Services Department Research & Development Forum 2012
In support of our vision to provide world-class wastewater and stormwater drainage services, we are committed to seeking opportunities to promote R&D and encourage collaboration with stakeholders in the industry.

The DSD R&D Forum will bring together local and overseas representatives from different departments of the Hong Kong Government, industry, and academia to build on the current state of knowledge. 

17 scholars/experts have been invited to present their research on aspects including (i) Hydrology and Hydraulics, (ii) Sustainable Urban Drainage System, (iii) Design & Materials, (iv) Wastewater & Sludge Treatment, (v) Odour Management, and (vi) Renewable Energy. 

Participants will have the unique and invaluable opportunity to get acquainted with the research and development of these relevant topics, to get inspired of their research application and opportunities, and to network.
