Sham Shui Po District Council members visited Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works

The Director of Drainage Services, Mr Edwin TONG, and the Chief Engineers, Mr Anthony TSANG and Mr CHUI Wai-sing, led the Sham Shui Po District Council (DC) members for a visit to Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW) today (16 Dec). They introduced DSD’s work to DC members and listened to their views.

During the visit, Mr Edwin TONG introduced DSD’s works at Sham Shui Po. Mr Anthony TSANG and Mr CHUI Wai-sing then briefed DC members on the Harbour Area Treatment Scheme and the operation of SCISTW’s facilities, and guided them for a tour to DSD’s sludge vessel “Clean Harbour 2”.

DC members were satisfied with today’s interaction and experience sharing.
