DSD Open Day 2016

The DSD Open Day 2016 will be held on 15 & 16 October at Shatin Sewage Treatment Works. With the theme of "Blue-Green Infrastructure for You and Me", the Open Day will feature DSD’s iconic projects “Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme”, “Harbour Area Treatment Scheme Stage 2A”, “Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Kai Tak River” and “Relocation of Sewage Treatment Works to Caverns”. At the Open Day, participants will learn more about DSD's continual efforts in combating climate change and adopting renewable energy technologies through display panels and physical models. The Open Day will be an enjoyable weekend event with all-day stage performance, guided tour, game booths, photo-taking corners, kids fun area and parent-child planting activity.
