DSD Participated in the “Life Buddies” Scheme Launched by the Commission on Poverty

26 August 2016

The DSD organized job tasting activities for Form 5 students from Kwun Tong District on 25 & 26 August 2016 as part of the “Life Buddies” Scheme, which was launched by the Commission on Poverty with the support of over 70 organizations among different sectors of the community.  It aims to help the younger generation enhance their exposure and get prepared to achieve their education, training and career goals.

Under the guidance of our engineers, the students were arranged to "work" in different divisions to have a taste of working environment in reality and visited various DSD facilities.  The students took a keen interest in the operation of the DSD and actively involved at "work".
