DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2016/01 “Construction of an Additional Sewage Rising Main between Tung Chung and Siu Ho Wan and Associated Works”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a $299.6 million contract with the Contractor Penta-Ocean – Wo Hing Joint Venture on 22 August 2016.

The contract comprises construction of an additional 1,200 millimetres diameter sewage rising main of approximately 6.5 kilometres long from Tung Chung Sewage Pumping Station to Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works, construction of the associated connection works for the additional sewage rising main, and ancillary works.  The contract is scheduled for completion in mid-2022.
