“DSD R&D Tea Gathering 2016” was held at Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW) on 21 April with 40 academics from 10 universities and research institutes participated. 

 

The Director of Drainage Services, Mr Edwin Tong Ka-hung led the academics for a tour to the SCISTW facilities and shared with them the current and future directions and scope of DSD’s Research & Development items. DSD colleagues also exchanged with the academics on the latest sewage treatment techniques and their applications. This event enabled DSD and the academics to gain an insight of the work of each other and paved the way for future collaborations.
