Administration Building of Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works, Drainage Services Department has received “Excellent Class” Indoor Air Quality Certificate

In 2003, the Environmental Protection Department launched the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification Scheme (the Scheme) to promote and commend good IAQ management practice.  DSD has been actively participating in the Scheme since 2007.  The Administration Building of Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works (SHWSTW) received “Excellent Class” IAQ Certificate in 2015.

In addition, 14 workplaces of DSD received “Good Class” IAQ Certificate in 2015, namely:

  1. Control and Switch Room of Centrifuge Building, SHWSTW
     
  2. Chemical Dosing Facility Office and Control Room, Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW)
     
  3. Sludge Treatment Facility, SCISTW
     
  4. Whole Mechanical Workshop Building, Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (STSTW)
     
  5. 2/F Control Centre of Main Pumping House, SCISTW
     
  6. Whole Administration Building, SCISTW
     
  7. G/F Motor Control Centre, 1/F Control Room and 1/F Server Room of Sludge Dewatering Building, SCISTW
     
  8. Whole Administration Building, STSTW
     
  9. Whole Laboratory Building, STSTW
     
  10. G/F and 1/F Administration Building, Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works
     
  11. Whole Administration Building, Yuen Long Sewage Treatment Works
