DSD was awarded the Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscaping Display) in the Hong Kong Flower Show 2015
4 May 2015
The Hong Kong Flower Show 2015 was held between 20 and 29 March 2015 at Victoria Park. DSD's exhibit adopted the theme of “Dancing‧Green‧River” by incorporating the concept of river revitalization into the theme of the show “When Blossoms Dance”, and was awarded the Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscaping Display).
DSD’s exhibit was decorated with recycled materials such as wood logs, grass straws and glass bottles. The water-friendly features in the exhibit enhanced the visitors’ understanding on river revitalization and biodiversity. In the exhibit, visitors could also admire the theme flower “Oncidium” dancing in the wind and fishes swimming around their feet when walking through the flora ribbons. Deputy Director of Drainage Services, Mr MAK Ka-wai (middle), Assistant Director/Projects & Development, Mr CHENG Hung-leung (third left) and DSD’s representatives received the Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscaping Display) on behalf of DSD Visitors visiting DSD’s exhibit Students sketching the garden displays at DSD’s exhibit |
