Wen Wei Po, Oriental Daily and Hong Kong Commercial Daily Interview DSD about Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme

On 18 December 2014, Wen Wei Po, Oriental Daily and Hong Kong Commercial Daily conducted an interview with our Chief Engineer, Mr. LUK Wai-hung, regarding the Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme.  The interview covered various project special features, including the operations of the stormwater storage tank, the water harvesting system and various consultation activities with stakeholders.  Our senior Engineer, Ms. Ellen CHENG Nga-see, also shared her experience on being discriminated as a female engineer in her early stage of work on site, and eventually being more considered from the engineering staff.  During the interview, Professor JIM Chi-yung from the Department of Geography of the University of Hong Kong, renowned as "Doctor of Tree", had also illustrated various works on tree protection in the vicinity of the Scheme.
