RTHK’s Programme “830 Mag” Interviewed DSD Senior Engineer Mr LAI Yuk-on, Engineer Mr LAU Yiu-man and Mr WONG Tak-shing on Flood Prevention

On 11 April 2019, RTHK’s programme “830 Mag” interviewed Senior Engineer Mr LAI Yuk-on, Engineer Mr LAU Yiu-man and Mr WONG Tak-shing about flood prevention facilities and precautionary measures before rainy seasons.

During the interview, our Senior Engineer, Mr LAI Yuk-on guided the programme host to Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Tank and introduced its background as well as the innovative design. After that, the production team interviewed Engineer Mr LAU Yiu-man and Mr WONG Tak-shing about the operation of Hong Kong West Drainage Tunnel and DSD’s preparation for the rainy season.
