Annual Concrete Seminar 2019 – Solutions of Enhancement and New Technology in Concrete

The Annual Concrete Seminar (ACS) 2019 was held successfully at the Youth-Square on 2 April 2019 with participation of over 300 practitioners, scholars and engineers from the construction industry. 
 

The seminar has been organised annually by the Standing Committee on Concrete Technology (SCCT) which was formed in 1982 for all matters relating to concrete construction.  The SCCT comprises representatives from the Development Bureau, Highways Department, Water Services Department, Drainage Services Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department, Architectural Services Department, Buildings Department and Housing Department.
 

The theme for this year was “Solutions of Enhancement and New Technology in Concrete”.  In the seminar, seven speakers shared their valuable engineering experience as well as research findings and exchanged ideas on concrete technology with the audience.
