The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a works contract of about $267 million with Shanghai Construction Overseas Engineering Limited on 7 March 2019.The works include demolition and reconstruction of three sewage pumping stations at Ting Kok Road; construction of about 6.6 kilometre of sewage rising mains and gravity sewers along Ting Kok Road; and construction of about 1.7 kilometre of sewers and drainage pipes at Tai Po Tau, Ping Kong and Shuen Wan Lei Uk.  The 54-month works contract commenced on 28 February 2019.
