RTHK’s Programme “Hong Kong Connection” reported on Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme

On October 24, the RTHK’s programme “Hong Kong Connection” covered the topic on how do Hong Kong combat extreme weather, including the interview with the project team of Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme. During the interview, our Chief Engineer, Mr Thomas WONG Hip-lik guided the reporters to DSD’s Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Tank underneath Happy Valley Recreation Ground. He also introduced its operation as well as the concept of “Sponge City”. The interview was broadcast in RTHK’s “Hong Kong Connection” programme on 3 December 2018.
