The Final of Harbour Area Treatment Scheme (HATS) Stage 2A Soccer Tournament (referred as “the Tournament” below) was successfully held on 14 June 2014 at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground.

The Tournament was first organized in 2010 with a view to enhancing the partnering spirit between the Drainage Services Department (DSD), the Consultants and the Contractors of the HATS Stage 2A project. Subsequently, the Tournament has become an annual event for the project teams of HATS Stage 2A.

The Tournament was held in May and June this year. The 9 participating teams of the Tournament were divided into 2 groups competing for the “Sewage Conveyance System (SCS) Cup" and "Sewage Treatment Works (STW) Cup". The participating teams included:
 

The Champions of the two Cups played the Final on 14 June 2014, competing for the Final Champion.

Apart from the Final, "VIP All-star Game" was another highlight of the day. Before the game, Mr. CHAN Pak-keung (Assistant Director/Sewage Services) delivered a welcoming speech and led the VIPs in officiating the kick-off ceremony. Afterthat, two VIP teams were formed by the management representatives from DSD, the Consultants and the Contractors of the SCS and STW groups respectively. The VIP teams performed a fantastic match with great coordination, which reflected the partnering spirit between the project teams of HATS Stage 2A.

After the games, Mr. CHUNG Kum-wah (Director of Drainage Services), Mr. TSUI Wai (Deputy Director of Drainage Services) and Mr. CHAN Pak Keung (Assistant Director/Sewage Services) presented the prizes to the following winners:
