DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 55/2013 (DS) "Review of Drainage Master Plan in Northern Hong Kong Island - Feasibility Study"

The Drainage Services Department signed a $7.98 million consultancy agreement on 21 May 2014 with AECOM Asia Company Limited to conduct a feasibility study to review the Drainage Master Plan in Northern Hong Kong Island which was conducted over ten years ago.

The scope of the study comprises evaluation of the existing drainage system, conduction of investigations and surveys, enhancement of the mathematic model of the drainage system and formulation of feasible and cost-effective drainage improvement measures to cope with the future development. The study is expected to take about 30 months to complete.
