DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2023/11 “Construction and Rehabilitation of Sewage Rising Mains in Southern District”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a works contract of about $879 million with KL-CW JV on 20 January 2025. The works include construction of about 8.8 kilometres (km) of sewage rising mains connecting the sewage pumping stations at Island Road to the sewerage system at Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road in Southern District; and construction of a boardwalk of about 450 metres in length along the northern bank of Staunton Creek Nullah in Wong Chuk Hang. This 53-month works contract commenced on 3 January 2025.
