RTHK TV Programme “Hong Kong United” Interviewed the DSD on Chau Tau Tsuen Polder and Ha Mei San Tsuen Polder

DSD Senior Engineer, Mr Leo CHAN Cheuk-chung and Forestry Officer, Ms Angela CHAN Ching-han introduced the Chau Tau Tsuen Polder and the Ha Mei San Tsuen Polder during the interview by the Radio Television Hong Kong TV Programme “Hong Kong United” on 30 August 2024.
In the interview, Mr CHAN explained the purpose and operation of the Village Flood Protection Scheme. He also provided a detailed introduction to the revitalisation works of the Chau Tau Tsuen Polder and the Ha Mei San Tsuen Polder, including the installation of photovoltaic system. Ms CHAN also introduced in the interview the environmental beautification and biodiversity of the two polders.
