RTHK TV Programme “Hong Kong United” Interviewed the DSD on Smart Flood Prevention System and LeMon Switch

DSD Engineers, Mr Maxwell MAK Shiu-wai and Mr George LAM Tsz-chiu, introduced the “Smart Flood Prevention System” at Shing Mun River and “LeMon Switch” during the interview by the Radio Television Hong Kong TV Programme “Hong Kong United” on 17 July 2024.

During the interview, Mr MAK explained the operation of the “Smart Flood Prevention System” at Shing Mun River. He added that the system would display the information on weather, tidal, and river water level to enhance the alertness of members of the public at low-lying locations to stay safe. Mr LAM introduced the operating principles, effectiveness, and installation benefits of the smart sensor “LeMon Switch”.
