DSD Participated in the Hong Kong Island Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Day 2024

Hong Kong Island Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Day 2024 was successfully held on 25 February 2024 at Wong Chuk Hang Recreation Ground. This year, DSD set up an exhibition booth introducing the overall flood prevention strategy, hydrometric information system for smart drainage management, measures taken by DSD in rainy season and during rainstorm, and displaying the 3-in-1 pipe clearance and investigation unit “Private Eye”.
In addition to visiting the exhibition, the public could also take part in the mini game, “Flood Warrior”, to test their knowledge on flood prevention.
