RTHK TV Programme “Hong Kong United” Interviewed the DSD on Desilting Robots

DSD Engineer, Ms Stephanie FENG-xue, introduced the application of desilting robots during the interview by the Radio Television Hong Kong TV Programme “Hong Kong United” on 23 November 2023.
In the programme, Ms FUNG introduced the three latest wireless remote-controlled robots, i.e., Innobros series, that the DSD adopted recently. Operators could control the robots remotely to enter box culverts and rivers to conduct desilting works, improving the occupational safety of workers, and increasing the flexibility and efficiency of the desilting works. In addition, Ms FUNG provided an overview of how the DSD utilised technology to monitor and analyse flood risks.
