DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2023/07 “Drainage Improvement Works at North District - Phase 1”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a works contract of about HK$569.5 million with Lanon Development Limited on 30 August 2023.  The works include (i) construction of an underground stormwater storage tank of about 10,000 cubic metres, a stormwater pumping station, stormwater drains and flap valves at Kong Ha and Sha Tau Kok Town; (ii) construction of drainage upgrading works at Kai Fong Yuen, Hang Tau, Shek Kiu Tau and Kwu Tung Road; and (iii) construction of flood walls at Sha Tau Kok Town, Kai Fong Yuen, Shek Kiu Tau and Tin Ping Shan Tsuen. This 47-month works contract commenced on 31 August 2023.
