Ming Pao Weekly interviewed DSD on the Improvement of Yuen Long Town Nullah

Ming Pao Weekly interviewed DSD Chief Engineer, Mr Jimmy POON Sui-shun, on 27 October 2022 to understand the revitalisation ideas of the Improvement of Yuen Long Town Nullah and how DSD hereby promotes a water-friendly culture.
Mr POON pointed out in the interview that DSD has planned a series of nullah improvement and revitalization measures. These measures include installing dry weather flow interceptors on both sides of the nullah to enhance water quality and replacing the existing concrete and straight channel with a green and meandering one to mimic a natural stream, so as to create a more desirable ecological environment.
