DSD received Three Awards in Safety Quiz 2022

9 September 2022

Amid a strong competition of top-notch teams, the DSD has won the Champion of the "Community / Union” Category in Safety Quiz 2022 held on 9 September 2022. What's more?! The DSD has carried off two more top prizes: 1st Round Highest Points Award and Accumulated Highest Points Award in Preliminary and Semi-final Contests respectively. In fact, this is the first time in the event's thirty years of history that a team has managed to wrap up three awards including the Championship in one go. A resounding cheer for the winning team – DSD's E&M Safety Team A for its outstanding achievement!! We also wish the team every success in their upcoming challenge with the champions from Guangdong and Macao areas in the 10th “Regional Safety Quiz” in December 2022.

Safety Quiz 2022 was co-organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Council and Labour Department. Since its first competition in 1993, the quiz is now an annual event. In addition to raising awareness on occupational safety and health (OSH), the event also aims to nurture various industry and young minds to develop a safety culture.

The DSD sees OSH as its first priority. Participation of this safety quiz has not only enhanced our colleagues' knowledge on OSH, it has also inspired them to take a more proactive stance towards achieving OSH goals.
