DSD awarded Contract No. DE/2020/01 "Yuen Long Effluent Polishing Plant – E&M Works for Sludge Dewatering Building, Administration Building and Renewable Energy Facilities for Stage 1"

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of about $427.74 million with The Jardine Engineering Corporation, Limited on 7 June 2022.  The works include electrical and mechanical works for sludge dewatering building and administration building at Yuen Long Effluent Polishing Plant; as well as photovoltaic panels installation at inlet works, primary sedimentation tanks, mainstream bio-reactor system, sludge thickening building and sludge dewatering building and testing and commissioning for the associated systems, etc.  This 55-month works contract commenced on 13 June 2022.
