DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2021/07 “Relocation of Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works to Caverns–Upstream Sewerage Works–Advance Works”

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of about $532 million with Build King Civil Engineering Limited on 18 May 2022. The works include construction of about 1.9km of 800mm diameter rising main from Sha Tin Main Sewage Pumping Station; rehabilitation of about 1.4 km of existing 1200mm diameter twin rising mains from Ma On Shan Sewage Pumping Station; reprovision of part of the facilities in Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works and ancillary works. This 31-month works contract commenced on 18 May 2022.
