DSD participated in the InnoCarnival 2021

23 October 2021

InnoCarnival 2021 was held from 23 to 31 October at the Hong Kong Science Park successfully. Featuring the theme of “Innovate for a Bright Future” of InnoCarnival, DSD booth showcased the application of innovation technologies in our works with display panels and videos, such as adopting Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the projects, employing the 360-degree panoramic camera for making the Stanley Sewage Treatment Works Virtual Tour and using the 5-Lens Unmanned Aerial System for building 3D Photorealistic Model, etc.

In addition, we elaborately designed the booth game, “Bring Drainy to the Sea”, to raise public awareness of “separate drainage and sewerage systems”. We also introduced the project of Expansion of Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Works Phase 1 by Virtual Reality (VR) technology, enabling the public to experience how engineers utilise the VR technology to enhance construction efficiency, quality and safety.
