DSD wins Bronze Award under “Organization Category – Client” in the Construction Industry Council Construction Digitalisation Award 2021

The DSD's “Digitalisation Journey for Smart Drainage Services in Drainage Services Department” had won Bronze Award under “Organization Category – Client” in the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Construction Digitization Award 2021. This award is a signature industry award to recognise outstanding local projects and organisations for their achievements in the adoption of digitalization in the projects and innovation to improve productivity, quality, sustainability and safety.

DSD is a pioneer in digital transformation of the core business to provide world-class drainage services to the public. Advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) applications has promoted digitalisation for planning, design and implementation of drainage projects. Furthermore, DSD has wide adoption of BIM, Digital Works Supervision System, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things for smart drainage project delivery since 2018. A step further, DSD is developing a Project Collaboration System as an one-stop operating platform to provide an effective way for managing our facilities to enhance the productivity, quality, safety and environmental performance. This paves an important cornerstone for DSD to further develop an integrated works management platform for wider adoption of innovations and smart devices and effective analysis and application of the vast amounts of data collected.
