Media Interviewed DSD on Facilities Landscape Enhancement and Greening Works

10 June 2021

HK01 and Apple Daily News interviewed our Senior Landscape Architect, Mr Chris CHUI Chi-keung and Landscape Architect, Ms Meg TSANG Hing-sin, about DSD’s facilities landscape enhancement and greening works on 10 June 2021.

Mr CHUI explained that drainage facilities built in early stages emphasized their functional and operational needs. In pace with the public’s rising expectations to the community environment, DSD has incrementally injecting greening and beautifying elements to those facilities, such as mural paintings or installation of recreational facilities, etc., in a hope to integrate its facilities into the community.

Ms TSANG then took the reporters to the Sham Shui Po No.1 & 2 Sewage Screening Plant located at Yen Chow Street West for the recently created mural painting and shared our creative ideas.
