DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 18/2020 (DS) “Review of Drainage Master Plan in Southern Hong Kong Island – Feasibility Study”

The Drainage Services Department signed a HK$8 million consultancy agreement with AECOM Asia Company Limited on 8 February 2021 for undertaking the feasibility study for the review of drainage master plan in Southern Hong Kong Island.

The consultancy agreement adopts New Engineering Contract 4 (NEC4) Professional Service Contract (PSC) Option A. Its scope comprises assessing the performance of the existing drainage system and proposing short-term and long-term drainage improvement measures to further reduce the risk of flooding in the study area and cope with future developments. The consultancy agreement will last for about 36 months.
