DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2019/10 “Yuen Long Effluent Polishing Plant – Main Works for Stage 1”

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of about $3,964 million with Paul Y – CREC Joint Venture on 17 November 2020.  The works include civil and electrical and mechanical works for sewage and sludge treatment facilities, including inlet works, primary sedimentation tanks, mainstream bio-reactor system, tertiary treatment system, sludge thickening building, sludge digesters, biogas holding tanks and associated buildings; civil works for sludge dewatering building and administration building; and other ancillary works including road works, drainage works, utility works, architectural and landscaping works etc. This 72-month works contract commenced on 9 November 2020.
