TVB’s Programme “Innovation GPS” Interviewed DSD Engineer IP Lam

DSD Engineer Mr Colin IP Lam gave an interview about the remote-controlled desilting robot introduced by DSD early this year to a Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) informative programme, “Innovation GPS” on 30 June 2020.

In the interview, Mr IP explained that workers on ground could control the desilting robot remotely to carry out desilting works in a confined and submerged box culverts which would avoid workers for working in high-risk conditions and so enhance the safety level. In addition, the desilting robot can carry out desilting works in wet season that substantially improves the efficiency.
