DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2019/04 “Condition Survey and Rehabilitation of Underground Sewers and Stormwater Drains – Stage 2”

The Drainage Services Department signed a works contract of about $432 million with Welcome Construction Company Limited on 22 September 2020. The works include condition survey of some stormwater drains, drainage box culverts and associated manholes throughout the territory of Hong Kong.　It also includes rehabilitation of some sewers and stormwater drains as well as associated manholes in Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Sham Shui Po, Yau Tsim Mong, Kowloon City and Wong Tai Sin districts.  This 46-month works contract commenced on the same date.
