DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 78/2019 (DS) “System Management (Review and Enhancement Works) of Harbour Area Treatment Scheme – Feasibility Study”

The Drainage Services Department signed an $8.38 million consultancy agreement on 29 May 2020 with AECOM Asia Company Limited for undertaking the review on the reliability of the Harbour Area Treatment Scheme (HATS) system, and study the feasibility of implementing enhancement works.

The scope of the consultancy agreement comprises feasibility study on upkeeping and enhancing the reliability of the sewage treatment services of the HATS system.  The study would review the system performance of the HATS, assess the health of the different components of the system and come up with recommendations on the enhancement of the HATS system.  The consultancy agreement will last for about 18 months.
