Media Interviewed DSD on Underground Stormwater Storage Schemes

On 28 May 2020, Apple Daily, Ming Pao, Ta Kung Pao and HK01 interviewed DSD Engineers, Mr CHUENG Fei-kit and Ms Priscilla YUEN Pui-shan, about Underground Stormwater Storage Schemes.
During the interview, Mr CHEUNG briefed reporters the features of and differences between conventional flood prevention strategy and underground stormwater storage scheme. He also explained how DSD responded to the challenges brought by extreme weather and introduced the six proposed underground stormwater storage schemes. After that, Ms YUEN introduced the Shek Kip Mei Stormwater Storage Scheme, including its background, scopes and initial design concepts, at Shek Kip Mei Park.
