DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 6/2019 (DS) “Hung Shui Kiu Effluent Polishing Plant and Yuen Long South Effluent Polishing Plant – Investigation”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a HK$22.4 million consultancy agreement on 27 March 2020 with AECOM Asia Company Limited for undertaking the investigation for the provision of effluent polishing plants each in Hung Shui Kiu and Yuen Long South separately. 

The consultancy agreement adopts New Engineering Contract 3 (NEC3) Processional Services Contract (PSC) Option C. The NEC3 PSC enables DSD and the consultant to timely complete the study on viable schemes for the proposed effluent polishing plants within the preset time frame and advances the implementation of innovative and sustainable sewage treatment solutions. Its scope comprises review, site investigation, impact assessments and preliminary design for the effluent polishing plants in Hung Shui Kiu and Yuen Long South respectively. The consultancy agreement will last for about 30 months.
