Hong Kong Streetathon 2020

“Hong Kong Streetathon 2020” was held on 12 January 2020 morning. The event was supported by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Mathew CHEUNG Kin-chung, with pronouncing the commencement of Hong Kong Streetathon 2020. Runners from Drainage Services Department had participated in the races to show support for the event. Before Category 10km race started, the Deputy Director of Drainage Services, Mr MAK Ka-wai together with the colleagues had taken group photos and cheered each other on at Kwun Tong Promenade Tower.

Organised by a social enterprise “RunOurCity”, the event targeted promoting culture of city-running so as to bring positive changes towards runners and the community. The event comprises 10km and 32km races. The route started at Kwun Tong Bypass near Kwun Tong Ferry Pier and Island Eastern Corridor near Victoria Center respectively, while the route ended at Hoi Bun Road near Vessel 01 venue, Kwun Tong and San Shan Road near To Kwa Wan Recreation Ground.
