DSD awarded Agreement No. CE 11/2019 (DS) “Drainage Improvement Works in Tai Po – Investigation”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a HK$7.2 million consultancy agreement on 13 February 2020 with Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Limited for undertaking the investigation for the drainage improvement works in Tai Po. 

The consultancy agreement adopts New Engineering Contract 4 (NEC4) Processional Services Contract (PSC) Option A. The new NEC4 PSC enables DSD and the consultant to timely complete the study on the viable schemes for the proposed flood prevention works within the preset time frame and advances the implementation of innovative and sustainable flood protection solutions. Its scope comprises review, site investigation, impact assessments and preliminary design for the drainage improvement works in Tai Po. The consultancy agreement will last for about 18 months.
