DSD Engineers Mr LEUNG Kin-kei and Ms YIP Pui-kei introduced DSD’s studies on river revitalisation and river revitalisation works under planning in the blog of the Secretary for Development.

Ms Yip described that DSD adopted the concept of “Rivers in the City” by applying water bodies revitalisation facilities in rivers, such as artificial flood retention lakes and river parks, to promote water-friendly culture. After that, Mr Leung introduced river revitalisation projects under planning, including Revitalisation of Tai Wai Nullah, Jordan Valley Nullah and Fo Tan Nullah.
