"Science in the Public Service" Lecture: River Revitalisation – Integrate Water in the City

DSD Engineer, Mr Keith LEUNG Kin-kei, delivered a lecture about the concept of river revitalization and the relevant works projects in Hong Kong Science Museum under the "Science in the Public Service" campaign on 10 August 2019.

Mr Leung stated that river revitalisation could help enhance biodiversity, river greening and beautification, as well as popularise water-friendly culture and activities. The DSD would keep extending the concept of river revitalisation and integrate water bodies into the city’s urban life, to let the public experience the multiple values of water bodies and treasure water bodies, achieving Hong Kong a livable city.
