Media Interview on DSD’s application of Green AI System

On 27 May 2019, Information Services Department, Ming Pao, South China Morning Post and Ta Kung Pao conducted an interview with DSD Engineer, Ms YIP Lai-yuk, Carol and Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Mr WANG Yu-hsing and his team for DSD's application of Green AI system in ecological monitoring.
During the interview, Ms YIP expressed that DSD has been collaborating with HKUST and applying the Green AI system in the project of Relocation of Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works to caverns. The Green AI system identifies and analyzes egretries near the project site for planning effective measures to minimize the impacts to egrets during the construction period. Professor WANG further introduced to the reporters the features and operation of the Green AI system.
