Southern District Council Members Visited Stanley Sewage Treatment Works

The Director of Drainage Services, Mr LO Kwok-wah led the Southern District Council (DC) members and the representatives of District Council Secretariat for a visit to Stanley Sewage Treatment Works(the first Sewage Treatment Works built in caverns) on 26 June. He introduced DSD’s works on flood prevention and sewage treatment at the Southern District to the visitors and exchanged with their views.

After the briefing session, our engineer introduced to the DC members the sewage treatment process and the operation of the facilities at Stanley Sewage Treatment Works.
