DSD awarded Contract No. DC/2018/04 “Lei Yue Mun Village Sewerage”

The Drainage Services Department (DSD) signed a works contract of $123 million with Vernaltex Company Limited on 2 November 2018. The contract aims at improving the environment in Lei Yue Mun Village and the water quality at Sam Ka Tsuen Typhoon Shelter and Victoria Harbour. The works include construction and upgrading of approximately 1,400m of gravity sewers along Lei Yue Mun Praya Road and associated dry weather flow interceptors (DWFIs). The works also include upgrading of the existing Sam Ka Tsuen Pumping Station and construction of approximately 460m of twin rising mains. The 48-month works contract commenced on 2 November 2018.
