Information Services Department interviewed DSD Chief Engineer Mr LAU Shing-cheong, Edwin and Engineer Mr YU Chi-keung, Kevin

Information Services Department (ISD) visited DSD in June and July 2018 and interviewed our Chief Engineer Mr LAU Shing-cheong, Edwin and Engineer Mr YU Chi-keung, Kevin. Mr LAU introduced the Government’s sustainable drainage systems, such as the artificial flood lake and an environmentally friendly underground stormwater storage tank under the development of Anderson Road Quarry Site. Mr YU also introduced DSD’s Smart Sewerage Monitoring pilot scheme under which with water level sensors and data loggers have been installed in over 100 manholes to monitor real-time water levels for timely inspection and preventative maintenance works.
