Secretary for Transport and Housing visits Kai Tak River in Wong Tai Sin and Proposed Water Feature Park in Diamond Hill Comprehensive Development Area

On 17th July 2018, the Honorary President of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions Ms CHAN Yuen-han invited the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Frank CHAN Fan to visit Wong Tai Sin Kai Tak River and the proposed Water Feature Park in the Diamond Hill Comprehensive Development Area. Legislative Councilor Hon HO Kai-ming and the Chairman of the Wong Tai Sin District Council, Mr LI Tak-hong also joined the visit. The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Frank CHAN Fan (second left), the Legislative Councilor Hon HO Kai-ming (first left), and the Chairman of the Wong Tai Sin District Council, Mr LI Tak-hong (first right) visited a school nearby to oversee Kai Tak River and were briefed by the Acting Assistant Director of DSD, Mr TAI Wai-man (second right) on the Kai Tak River improvement works and the revitalization elements adopted A section of Kai Tak River adjacent to the school near Prince Edward Road East Ms CHAN Yuen-han (fifth right), Hon HO Kai-ming (first right) and the attendees shared their views on the works of Kai Tak River and the Water Feature Park with DSD’s Acting Assistant Director, Mr TAI Wai-man (second right), the Chief Engineer, Mr LAU Shing-cheong (fourth right) and representatives of Housing Department. The attendees expressed their gratitude to DSD for the active participation and professional input contributed in the design of the Water Feature Park
