Oriental Daily and Sing Tao Daily interviewed DSD Engineer Mr CHAN Kin-kan

On 26 June 2018, our Engineer Mr CHAN Kin-kan gave an interview to Oriental Daily and Sing Tao Daily. 

At the interview, Mr CHAN introduced the Harbour Area Treatment Scheme (HATS), including the two “diesel-electric” environmental friendly cargo vessels purposely built for sludge delivery and the pilot trial of hydro-turbine system at the Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works. Mr CHAN also shared with the reporters about the 15th Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize recently awarded to HATS under the Municipal Engineering Category. He then guided the reporters to the Clean Harbour 1 and further illustrated the operation of the sludge vessel.
