Taiwan TVB News interviewed Mr TONG Kwan-shing, Tommy, then DSD Engineer

On 7 May 2018, Mr TONG Kwan-shing, Tommy, then Engineer, gave an interview to Taiwan TVBS News on DSD’s underground flood prevention projects. At the interview, Mr TONG illustrated the flood prevention strategies of Hong Kong, namely the flood interception, flood storage and localized drainage improvement works. He also briefed the reporter the background, movable weirs, rainwater harvesting system and various environmentally friendly features adopted in the Happy Valley Underground Stormwater Storage Scheme. He then guided the reporter to the storage tank and further introduced the design and operation of the stormwater storage tank. The interview was broadcast in TVBS News on 24 June 2018.
