Annual Concrete Seminar 2018 – Recent Development in Concrete Construction

The Annual Concrete Seminar (ACS) 2018 was held successfully at the Youth-Square on 9 May 2018 with participation of almost 300 practitioners, scholars and engineers from the construction industry. 

The seminar has been organised annually by the Standing Committee on Concrete Technology (SCCT) which was formed in 1982 for all matters relating to concrete construction. The SCCT comprises representatives from the Development Bureau, Highways Department, Water Services Department, Drainage Services Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department, Architectural Services Department, Buildings Department and Housing Department.

The theme of ACS 2018 was “Recent Development in Concrete Construction”. In the seminar, 7 speakers shared their valuable research findings and exchanged ideas on concrete technology with the audience.
