DSD workplaces have received “Good Class” Indoor Air Quality Certificate Award for 7 consecutive years

The Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certificate Award Ceremony cum Technical Seminar held by Environmental Protection Department and Indoor Air Quality Information Centre was conducted at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai on 25 February 2014. In Hong Kong, there were 784 premises received “Good Class” Indoor Air Quality Certificates including 244 premises owned by 20 government departments. DSD has been actively participating in Indoor Air Quality Certificate Award Scheme and awarded “Good Class” IAQ Certificates to various DSD workplaces for 7 consecutive years since 2007. The 14 workplaces received the Award in 2013 were as follows:
  • Whole Administration Building of Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW);
  • Office and Control Room of Chemical Dosing Facility of SCISTW;
  • Control Room of Sludge Treatment Facility of SCISTW;
  • Control Centre of Main Pumping House of SCISTW;
  • Whole Administration Building of Shatin Sewage Treatment Works (STSTW); 
  • Laboratory Building of STSTW;
  • Mechanical Workshop of STSTW;
  • Whole Administration Building of Siu Ho Wan Sewage Treatment Works (SHWSTW);
  • Control and Switch Room of Centrifuge Building of SHWSTW;
  • Administration Building of Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works;
  • Administration Building of Yuen Long Sewage Treatment Works;
  • Administration Building of Sham Tseng Sewage Treatment Works;
  • Office of Wan Chai East Preliminary Treatment Works and
  • New Office, Control Room and Works Manager’s Office of Ha Tsuen Sewage Pumping Station.
